Biography

Ran is a NYC based actor. Growing up both in Israel and the states he is fluent in both English and Hebrew. His work extends to Screen and theater.

 

Some of Ran's work includes: : Staring in promos for The Lift (with Al Roker) and LaLa’s Full Court Life (with La La Anthony), Eyewitness ABC news, and the opening sequence for the show It's Supernatural as well as Appearing in Vouge's 73 Question with Priyanka Chopra and the upcoming Adult Swim show Mostly 4 Millennials. Ran has worked on commercials for top brands such as: Optimum, Pfizer, Jersey Mike’s subs, JLL, Verizon, Wyndham Hotels, JP Morgan Chase, PWC, Con-Ed, Pfizer, VFS Global, Deloitte, Korn Fery, NJR Home Services, Infor, Novocure, Manhattan Hotel Group, Blade, Proud Moments, Cadillac, the Medicine company, Yotel, Flyp, DaveK, Astralink, Tudelu, United Stations and more.

 

Ran has worked on TV series airing on: VH1, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, TrueTV, Travel Channel, ID and FYI.

 

Ran had the honor of performing in such distinguished theater venues among New York Theater Workshops, the Theater at St. Clements, The Jewish Museum, The Gallery Players, Hudson Guild, The Lee Strasberg Theater, The Marilyn Monroe Theater, Manhattan Rep. Theater.

 

Ran has also worked as a standardized patient at MSRa world leader in Simulation-Based Medical Education (SBME) and patient safety training. He also works with New York Medical College and Effective Arts training professionals from the medical field on interpersonal communications. 

 

Throughout his work, he has been the subject of several in-depth interviews in numerous newspapers and magazines in the US and around the world (among them front-page profile in The Jewish Week and a spotlight feature in Backstage magazine).

   

Ran has also served three years in the Israeli Air Force and done volunteer work at a suicide call center, psychiatric facility and with terror victims. He also writes a weekly column for the Israeli-American Newspaper which you can read here.
